Our SEIRs registered expert installers are experienced in completing repairs to the highest standard. We ensure that any items indicated on your inspection are satisfied in line with SEMA guidelines. Our installers fully check any re-used components and will not install anything that would be unsafe.
Repairs are undertaken, usually, in busy warehouses where the option to offload all of the racking is simply not available. We instead will communicate with you to ensure your racking repairs go as smoothly as possible by liaising with your warehouse manager to co-ordinate the works around your busy operation.
The most common racking repair is low level damaged to pallet racking uprights, typically caused by a collision with a forklift. In this instance we can remove the damaged upright in situ and re-connect a replacement upright. This is only possible with bolted frames, welded racking frames would require a complete frame replacement.
Racking protection prevents not only the need to repair as often but also could prevent a racking collapse!

Standard Racking Components
Locking Pins – Dexion, PSS, Link 51… we supply them all. Safety locking pins ensure the beam is not accidentally dislodged, while also preventing toppling of the rack by shearing if too much force is applied. Incorrect locking pins can be dangerous.
SWL Signs displaying the correct safe working load and important safety information is a legal requirement. WCL can help ascertain your beam loadings and print bespoke signs.
Anchor Bolts are designed to stabilise the racking and prevent collapse. The correct anchor bolts are specified by each manufacturer and WCL can ensure you get the right specification and quantity.

Racking Accessories
Anti-collapse Mesh prevents the collapse of product from pallets by way of a physical barrier. Commonly found where racking is adjacent to walkways or to create a secure store using the racking as a structure.
Pallet Support Bars, Mesh & Timber Decking is used to support poorer quality pallets, to be installed over racking bridge walkways or to create a large shelf within a rack.
Pallet Fork Entry Bars support flat bottom product without the use of a pallet and act as 2 permanent skids within the racks.
Racking Protection most commonly ‘U’ type floor mounted steel guards that stop contact between a forklift and the racking frame. End of rack barriers are fixed to the floor to protect the ends of pallet racking runs or within racking bridges. Racking upright protectors are also available for self install in plastic.
Labelling and Signage our warehouse labelling guide is available on request with inspiration for aisle and location markers. Our labelling systems are fully barcode scanner compatible.
